The Puppeteer
Your mask fell
I took off the glasses
You doubled down
I took the lashes
The poison you gave almost killed me
Instead I drank in light and let it guide me
Years of hiding, lying and cheating
Whittled your worth as you deceived me
I built a world to hide me from the chaos that was binding
You pick your prey distinctly
Carefully curated muses serving selfish purpose
To worship your illusions
Clinging to the dream
Intoxicated and feeding your beast
Providing a host on which you feast
I see you
You and I know what you are
There are others too
You won’t run far
Goddesses keep you alive
Feeding the serpent that you hide
You’re not the savior you claim to be
Your predatory nature has been seen
The ones you want surpass your fears
Your weakness hides within their tears
Ignore the voices, distract the thoughts
Invert your soul until it’s lost
Sleepless nights derived from shame
Your wounded soul causing others pain
There is no where to hide
when you live inside you
with a hall of mirrors that misguide you
Rage displayed upon your alter
Worshipped daily , your only power
Small and weak, a life wasted?
Was it worth my blood your mouth just tasted?
You chose to lead me to the slaughter
indulging deep in lust and fodder
you wanted me to fade away,
tried to steal my gifts so you could play
Atman carries karma
Clawed crown, lightening to your chakra
It’s Time to Wake you from your slumber
Denials, secrets , you’re outnumbered
No reflection.
you can’t see me
No space for this where I’ll be.
The sword I wield is swift with truth
Your trail is ridden with scent for sleuths
The time is up for your kind
One by one you’ll fall behind
watch us rising with Love and Grace
To regain our throne, our rightful place.
Puppeteers are “oh so kind” until you cut the cords.
